My Current Obsessions..

Hey people!

If you’re anything like me, every once in a while you’ll find that you have a couple of things that you’re totally in love with. For me, this list is a revolving door, the things on it come and go but the one thing they do is bring me pure unadulterated joy! So for the past couple of weeks, I’ve had a couple of things that have been making me very happy so I thought I’d share the joy.

1: Girls Like You by Maroon5 ft. CardiB

This song actually just came out but I’m completely in love with it! It’s an upbeat, cheerful song with lyrics that I like, and the video? Just beautiful. It featured all sorts of women that I admire from Ellen DeGeneres to Mary J. Blige to Rita Ora and of course my girl Cardi. It’s been on replay for the past 24 hours, I’m listening to it as I write this post and I’m in musical bliss, check it out guys!

2. Libertè Coconut Yogurt

Velvety smooth with chunks of coconut, yum! This is definitely my current favorite yogurt and I get it every time I go to the grocery store. It tastes beautiful on it’s own, but if you sprinkle a dash of granola or frozen grapes on it??? There’s no telling how long you’ll be dancing!

3. I’m Judging You: The do better manual by Luvvie Ajayi

This is one book that I couldn’t put down till I read it all. So real, so relevant and relatable to the world that we live in today. It touches so many areas and the pure humor just jumps out to you from every page! Let me tell you, I laughed so hard I cried because you can see yourself or someone you know on every page of this New York Times best seller and the fact that the writer is a Nigerian that lives abroad but hasn’t forgotten her roots? Mind blowing. I really recommend it guys, I do.

4. My super fantastic Maybelline superstay full coverage foundation

This gem of a foundation comes in various shades for our various skin tones and my shade is coconut . My sister got me this product in April and as much as I love MAC, this foundation has definitely gotten my attention. A little drop goes a long way for your daily routine so you don’t need so much per application and it covers Every. Single. Thing. Doesn’t give that overly caked look and has oil control. It’s without doubt my favorite makeup product of the moment.

5. Grace and Frankie: A Netflix original series

My friend J.M put me on to this show and you best believe that I have watched the entire four seasons! It’s a show based on old people and the surprises that accompany life in your seventies, surprisingly hilarious, often touching serious issues especially how difficult it is for our aged parents to admit they need serious help and things like that. I laughed a lot watching it and my favorite character is definitely the hippie and outrageously funny Frankie, followed by the prim and proper martini and false lashes enthusiast Grace. I am now having withdrawal symptoms from my binge watching and wondering how I’ll cope with waiting till 2019 for season 5.

6. Frozen lime Margaritas

This classic drink has always been a favorite of mine. Sweet, sour, salty, and definitely packs a punch. It’s definitely my go to when I’m trying to unwind and just let down my hair. I love love it!
